CTPAT and PIP Designations

CTPAT and PIP are both cooperative voluntary programs between private industry and USA/Canada Customs to enhance border and trade chain security, combat organized crime and terrorism, and help detect and prevent contraband smuggling.

Having these designations identifies us as a low-risk carrier and shipper for expedited border crossings. The key benefits of having and maintaining these designations are: less customs inspections; shorter inspection times; identifying AYR Motor Express as a secure, low-risk Trusted Trader.

These designations also make us eligible to take advantage of the FAST (Free and Secure Trade) benefits which give our approved drivers access to the designated FAST lanes to cross the border,  moving freight between Canada and USA uninterrupted, and ensuring on-time delivery.
